ABOUT
Rooted in the History and Legacy of African American Industrialism
Our Mission
To carry on and expand the legacy and unity the green book created among Black Americans, to all reaches of the diaspora. A safe space for #bipoc folks to see themselves represented in travel media and to gather tips, share important information and give safety recommendations.

History
The community is inspired by The Negro Motorist Green Book.
The Green Book became "the bible of black travel during Jim Crow", enabling black travelers to find lodgings, businesses, and gas stations that would serve them.
Shortly after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlawed the types of racial discrimination that had made the Green Book necessary, publication ceased and it fell into obscurity.
